Vinha Pan 1999 Red

Baga is a Portuguese indigenous grape variety perfectly adapted to the soils and clime of the Bairrada region. To better display the character of the region, this wine is made from a single vineyard called Vinha da Panasqueira, exposed in a small slope towards South. Here you can find archeological fossils in some chalky stones and a pine forest nearby.

A better knowledge of the evolution of this wine can be attained by tasting the older vintages starting in 1995, as one can understand the evolution of my winemaking, personality and creativity.
