2021 began with a regular winter and spring in terms of precipitation and temperatures. The summer months were characterised by belownormal average temperatures and low rainfall. The final stage of the ripening was characterised by sunny days and cool nights that helped to retain acidity and gave the musts an extraordinary balance. Overall, it was a moderate vintage that will deliver great ageing potential.
