Ribeiro Santo Reserva Red

Grape varieties: Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro, Tinta Roriz.

Tasting notes: Medium-concentrated ruby ​​colour. Aromas of black fruit and some spices, such as black pepper. A fresh and elegant wine, with an expressive structure on the palate and good persistence. Balance between the influence of the barrel and the acidity.

Winemaking: Hand-picked. Total destemming. Maceration for 24 hours at a low temperature before starting alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. Gentle pumping over to extract colour and aromas. Racking for 9 months to new 225L French oak barrels, previously used for fermenting white wine.

Gastronomy Pairs perfectly with roast meat, dishes with dried fruit, mushrooms and soft cheeses.

Curving time: 5 to 15 years.
