Quadraginta Red

This one contains my beloved Touriga Francesa, which I consider to be the best national red grape variety, as well as Aragonez and Castelão. Almost all of them come from the Algeruz estate, although part of the Castelão comes from the Serra da Arrábida. It was trodden by foot in stainless steel vats and aged in new wood (Taransaud T5, as it should be) for 15 months. It came out very elegant with polished tannins, evolved. Notes of rockrose and spices, along with redder fruit.
