Parapente Vinhas Velhas Red

The red grapes from the old blend were used to produce Parapente Tinto 2021, mainly Bastardo and Tinta Amarela, both light in color and with good freshness, with small percentages of Tinta Roriz and Baga. It was fermented in a wine press, foot-trodden, and aged in 500-liter barrels, 30% new, for 18 months. It is spicy and slightly marked by aging in new wood, with a resinous touch, notes of pine needles, and red and black fruits. It showed restrained maturation, 13.5% alcohol, and balanced acidity.

1,800 bottles produced. It was bottled in 2023.
