Moscatel Roxo Superior 1918

By the occasion of the celebration of th 184 years of José Maria da Fonseca and the 100th birthday of Fernando Soares Franco, member of the 5h generation leading José Maria da Fonseca, the family has decided to release 184 bottles of Moscatel Roxo de Setúbal Superior 1918.

COLOR

Very dark brown, depth of black and very green tinges (indication of being very old).

AROMA

Extremely complex and in constant evolution. Coffee, toasted bread, cigar smoke, iris flower, balsamic, acacia, dates, caramel, honey, spices (lots of black pepper, some cloves and saffron)

PALATE

Very elegant, constantly evolving (as in aroma), very soft, excellent sugar/acidity ratio.

FINISH

Very Long.
