Monte da Bica Grande Reserva

Clear-sighted without being imposing, short on words and rich in thought, this was the inspiration for this Bica Blend. The ten best French and American oak barrels of this year came together to pay tribute to those who saw them born.

The Varieties:

Cabernet Sauvignon 33%, Merlot 33%, and Alicante Bouschet 33%.

In the Vineyard:

Located in Lavre, 15 years old. The Mediterranean climate provides a wide range of temperatures, and the transitional soils from clay to sand in this extreme Alentejo region allow, despite low productivity, conditions for ripening with great aromatic expression and retention of freshness. Hand-harvested from this plot, transported in small 12 kg boxes to the winery.
