Envelope Red

Envelope Red is the result of a blend of Touriga Nacional, Alfrocheiro, Tinta Roriz and Tinto Cão from 40-year-old vines, and fermented with 100% stems. Halfway through the process, in order to avoid the astringency of the tannins, we stopped contact with the skins. It was aged for 12 months in 300-litre barrels and then remained for a further 8 months in the bottle before being released onto the market. Clear and light in colour. It has a very fresh, markedly mineral aroma, with wild berries, spices and notes of reduction. In the mouth it is fresh, with a well-defined acidity, very polished tannins and a long, deep and delicate finish. Contains sulphites.
