The Dedication wine to Ann’s father Baron Gustav von Furstenberg is back with the 2018 vintage. We make this wine only in exceptional vintages where the Merlot presents flavours that are unmistakably Merlot and the wine evolves to a Portuguese Atlantic coast answer to Right Bank Bordeaux – of which Ann’s father was a great fan! Plummy, meaty and iron-rich umami notes, alongside the classic vegetal hint of Merlot with green bell pepper and earthy pine forests. Balanced integrated oak and tannins, with a backbone of acidity that keeps this wine lifted and promises to do so for a long while.
